Member Benefits

As a member of the DuPage FSC, skaters are members of U.S. Figure Skating (USFS). You will receive a “ USFS member number” which will be needed for any test and competition information. As a USFS member, you are eligible to take tests in various disciplines of the sport: Figures, Free Skating, Moves-in-the-Field, Pairs, and Dance. USFS also has events for Synchronized Skating and Ice Theater groups. The test structure is comprised of building block levels that progress in difficulty and culminate at the Gold and Senior level.

Your club membership is for one year starting July 1 through June 30. With your membership, additional benefits may include:

As a new member, please note that events such as our DuPage Open competition, as well as our test sessions and clinics, would not be possible without the help of our dedicated volunteers. In order to conduct these events, we require each skater’s family to volunteer for a 3-4 hour shift of service within the membership year. There are numerous ways your time and talent can benefit the club. For information, see our Volunteers page.
